I GOOGLED "eviechevy" and found this BabyNamer website that lists some "Drawbacks" to the name Evelyn (which is my full first name) - the teasing nicknames include: Elephant, Avalanche, Evil, etc. - most of which I have been called at some point (except Avalanche)..... One that they left off the list: "Heffalump" -
my Dad used to call me that. :)
I've also been called Evster, Big E and Everclear........

Tuesday - October 16, 2007 was the open call at Carolines for the NY Comedy Fest Stand Up Competition - but according to my photo - it was NEW YORK'S FUNNIEST STAN COMPETITION ....

who is Stan?

I was 5th in the line (I got there at 6:30am to wait for the 11am start) and got to be in the first group brought inside to audition.
p.s. I did NOT make it into the semi-finals.....guess there are a lot more funnier Stans in this town than I thought...

BABY POWER

I was at the corner deli last Friday night - aimlessly searching the shelves.

Out of the corner of my eye, I see some tea light candles and one of them looks like it's called BABY POWER...

LOL - that is hilarious I laughed to myself as I said - oh right - it's BABY POWDER! but then I did the double take.....and the package actually says BABY POWER...

not sure I want my apartment to smell like that...
