RESTREPO

You must see this documentary:
RESTREPO -
by Sebastian Junger and Tim Hetherington - they were "embedded" journalists and they followed one US Army platoon in Afghanistan, starting with deployment for one year

I saw the film at Angelika NYC on 7/9 and a pleasant surprise
Tim Hetherington did a Q&A after the film! It was so cool to meet him…
Check out his website here:

Also the book by Sebastian Junger (about the same platoon) is:
WAR

The film is so powerful - you will go thru every emotion with the guys...
amazing... Thank you for making this film...

Landon...Yes! dwts???

I was in the audience for the taping of "Centerstage" (YES Network) featuring Landon Donovan...
here's my blurry photo attempt in between takes...

here he is in action.....

They asked the audience to write down some questions for Landon (that never got used) - my question was "Would you ever consider being a contestant on Dancing With The Stars?"
That would be cool...

Thanks to the US ARMY

My Dad, Robert B. Aronson,
served in the US Army from 1953 – 1955
(Rank upon discharge: Sergeant).

He was a Bio Chemist and was stationed
at the General Hospital at Fort Sam Houston, TX.
While he was there he met my Mom, Edna Gray Brucks,
a civilian working at the Hospital as a lab technician.
They were married August 16, 1955.

So….if it wasn’t for the US Army, I wouldn’t be here today!

sabatoge the graduation!

My cousin Alex graduated from Canandaigua Academy on June 26, 2010 -
I tried to sabatoge the cap and gown at the last minute....
The plan didn't work, so we went to the commencement excercises at CMAC

I'm proud

Now he's ready for school in NYC!
